We have a few POMs through GWT which need its versions updated for the release. The question is what to use for version string. We have no process or infrastructure in place for snapshots so I'd like to keep that out of this picture.
I propose to use "2.5.0.RCx" while we publish release candidates so that they match the branch(es) we will produce until the 2.5.0 release. If so, I will shortly (today) put a patch for review to change all references to GWT version in the POMs to "2.5.0.RC1". Soon after we cut the RC1 release we will publish it to Sonatype. Rinse and repeat for every RCx and the final 2.5.0 release. Thoughts, concerns? PD: Let's discuss separately how or whether to publish SNAPSHOT versions based on nightly green builds. -- http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Web-Toolkit-Contributors
