Agreed. I'll get back to poking at this and hopefully share something,
even embarassingly inadequate "soon". I had played with it awhile ago,
but it's such a huge task, that I got demotivated when it seemed no
one else was interested.

Agreed; I have opinions (imagine that :-), but we can defer that
discussion until when/if needed.

Totally agreed. I want my own GWT apps to get this for free/with
no/minimal code changes as well.
