Patch Set 1:

GWT.runAsync is special treated in ReplaceRunAsync::isRunAsyncMethod()

I am wondering whether we should have an annotation @GWTSpecialMethod on every method that is "indexed"/special treated. Then (1) people would know that even trivial changes there might have unforeseen consequences and (2) we could even check that every special treated method is annotated and viceversa.
