I am not too comfortable with (1). I prefer the overly conservative (2) and
see if it is still a performance problem for us. If it is a performance
problem we should go with (3).
So my suggestion is to go for (2) optimizing only those that have no calls
other than constructors/ superconstructors/ init and parameterless static
calls.
