I guess I'd rather see compilation errors, but why not just implement the code, I wonder? It seems like it's a simple function, which would be better implemented in one place (the Collections emulation), than in the client code of each user. It's no big deal; now that I know, I'll implement it myself. But still... is this just a symptom of getting to crunch time with some code incomplete? Perhaps an improved compiler error message would be, "this J2SE method is not implemented by GWT emulation libraries."
