Just put your PopupPanel in a FocusPanel, then give the FocusPanel a
mouse listener that  hides the popup on mouse leave.


                PopupPanel myPop = new PopupPanel();
                FocusPanel fp = new FocusPanel();
                fp.setWidget(myPop);
                MouseListenerAdapter ml = new MouseListenerAdapter(){
                        public void onMouseLeave(){
                                myPop.hide();
                        }};
                fp.addMouseListener(ml);
