In Canada (not sure how it works where you are located), content that programmers write is automatically copyrighted unless otherwise stated. Therefore, if someone is copying your product and redistributing it without your permission, you will able to pursue them through legal action for copyright infringement. Putting copy protection on a GWT app that's available on the Internet is not really possible, and as with most copy protected software, will only frustrated your users and drive away customers.
