If I were Google, I would answer by pointing out that there has been a stable 1.4.62 release out there for quite some time, and advise to adjust your appetite for unreleased products in keeping with the risk your project can tolerate. Because the flip side of this is that there are many issues having to do with the quality of a new release, and managing to schedule only WILL compromise quality. Them's the breaks...but you do have a choice.
