That's the problem with ExtGWT in general. I always tell people to not use ExtGWT because it is _nowhere_ near the level of quality of GWT. You're much better off building your own widgets. That initial investment will far outweigh the pain of maintaining a ExtGWT app (and you won't have the massive performance issues).
