i have been having the same issue...in hosted mode everything works
but in a browser non-text TreeItems don't highlight.
Taking a closer look (literally) i see that there is an area above the
added widget that does get highlighted, but the widget doesn't.

I have been playing around with the css and looking at the generated
html, but I can't figure it out...has anyone used Widgets in a tree
and got highlighting to work (when the tree item was selected) ?
