Hi, GWT-canvas is fine and acceptable. However, the problem is the canvas implementation in IE, it is very very slow. If you are considering IE, perhaps GWT canvas is not a good idea. Perhaps tatami (http://tatami.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/site/samples/ TatamiDemo/index.html) is a better idea...
