Hi David, You cannot easily get at the widget you used for a tab header. TabBar.getTabHTML() doesn't work if you loaded a widget into a tab header. I am not sure why this is, i.e. why this is so difficult in the case of TabPanel.
A solution is to accept that if you need more than CSS to drive your tab header behaviour, then you probably need to extend TabPanel.
