With a debugger.  :-)  Server side code is just Java on a JVM, there's 
nothing special about GWT on the server.  There's very little of actual GWT 
on the server side; if you're using GWT RPC then you'll have a server side 
dependency for that protocol; if you're using more generic ways to access 
the server from the client, you might not have *any* GWT-specific stuff on 
the server.  Debug it just like you would debug any server-side web app.
