Nevermid!
After LOT of debugging, found the culprit. The moment FormPanel was 
submitted, we were hiding it. Since the source of the request was thus 
being removed, the browser showed the request as cancelled. So even though 
the request went to the server, it never came back to invoke 
SubmitCompleteEvent.
