Here is what I did

$ git fetch https://gwt.googlesource.com/gwt refs/changes/10/14010/4 && git 
cherry-pick FETCH_HEAD
$ ant clean elemental dist-dev -Dgwt.version=2.8.0-SNAPSHOT
$ ./maven/push-gwt.sh

After that, the complier complains about the missing java classes.
