Yes. Just for reference:

 Element el = DOM.createElement ("track");

        el.setAttribute("default", "true");
        el.setAttribute ("label", "English");
        el.setAttribute( "kind", "subtitles");
        el.setAttribute ("srclang", "en");
        el.setAttribute ("src", "buffy.vtt");

        video.getVideoElement().appendChild(el);

That will autoplay the subtitles when the video is being played.
