I’ve migrated my project from GWT 2.7.0 to 2.8.1 and Guava 21.0 and in the
first it doesn't want to compile until I added the following dependencies
to my pom.xml
<dependency>
<groupId>com.google.errorprone</groupId>
<artifactId>error_prone_annotations</artifactId>
<version>2.0.19</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.google.j2objc</groupId>
<artifactId>j2objc-annotations</artifactId>
<version>1.1</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
I can now generate the war from my project and it is working fine
the problem is when I want to run it from eclipse it gives me the following
error
Compile with -strict or with -logLevel set to TRACE or DEBUG to see all errors.

I installed the eclipse plugin as described here
https://gwt-plugins.github.io/documentation/gwt-eclipse-plugin/Download.html
So, I'm asking what is the difference between click on GWT compile option
and the run option (I think the compile must be the same behavior in both)
