In my case, i was resolved this problem with following code:

example.addKeyboardListener(new KeyboardListener() {
@Override
public void onKeyPress(Widget sender, char keyCode, int modifiers) {
DeferredCommand.add(new Command() {
@Override
public void execute() {
example.setText(example.getText().toUpperCase());
}
});
}
@Override
public void onKeyDown(Widget sender, char keyCode, int modifiers) {
}
@Override
public void onKeyUp(Widget sender, char keyCode, int modifiers) {
}
});
