Thanks for the comment. I don't think that we can say that Gradle will remove Maven in the future, since Maven is also still in development.
For many reasons it is also easier to stay with Maven. Not every projects have a high requirement for build process. So IMHO Maven is still the simplest way to build your Java project. But it would be also nice to be able to support Gradle just like what Spring Boot has done. For this I need to know is there any standard Gradle Plugin for GWT compiler?
