Last thought, if your struts backend isn't giving you data that you
get get in an iframe to pass to GWT, then I'd use DWR and integrate it
with struts.

I am using DWR in an iframe to get data from my server and often see
on the mailing list discussion of struts integration.  This way you
can access your struts data and logic I believe.

Still, I am not really an enterprise programmer so ...
