I don't want to enter into an Eclipse vs. Netbeans debate, but I'll simply say that I use Eclipse and have virtually no experience with Netbeans. But if you're looking for help setting up Eclipse to use GWT, take a look at Robert Hanson's book, GWT in Action ( http://www.amazon.com/GWT-Action-Easy-Google-Toolkit/dp/1933988231/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1236624894&sr=8-1 ) It has a very useful introductory chapter on setting up your environment, not to mention a ton of useful information on GWT as well! Eclipse is a huge infrastructure as a developement platform, I've been using it for years and I still find "wow, I didn't know you could do that" things....
Good luck! Later, Shaffer On Mar 9, 10:15 am, Harish <[email protected]> wrote: > Iam new to GWT, firstly i wanted to know which is the best editor is > it Eclipse or Netbeens.
