I don't want to enter into an Eclipse vs. Netbeans debate, but I'll
simply say that I use Eclipse and have virtually no experience with
Netbeans.  But if you're looking for help setting up Eclipse to use
GWT, take a look at Robert Hanson's book, GWT in Action (
http://www.amazon.com/GWT-Action-Easy-Google-Toolkit/dp/1933988231/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1236624894&sr=8-1
) It has a very useful introductory chapter on setting up your
environment, not to mention a ton of useful information on GWT as
well!  Eclipse is a huge infrastructure as a developement platform,
I've been using it for years and I still find "wow, I didn't know you
could do that" things....
