Well it's not hard to refactor, but I was hoping that the GWT compiler would figure out what I need and don't need. But I do see why this would be better.
The thing is that I am making a mobile version of my application and I don't want to include google maps on my mobile version. I also have my JSON data parsers in my original application and some reference the google maps api.
