I believe that the snapshot of the codehaus gwt-maven plugin
(http://mojo.codehaus.org/gwt-maven-plugin/) works with GWT 1.6. I'd
try their archetype and go from there. Unfortunately, I haven't tried
it for 1.6 yet.
