Hello, I have a stand-alone server application which will later serve the GWT page. But currently this GWT page is being developed and debugged in hosted mode. So I simply can't serve it from my own webserver!
My question is... How can I disable the same-origin-policy for debugging purposes?! Or is there any other way to communicate with my stand-alone server via HTTP requests? I know that GWT 1.5.2 was not aware of the SOP but now I am using 1.6.4; and the whole thing is screwed up! Personally I find it rather frustrating that GWT doesn't give me the option to enable or disable the SOP...
