We're embarking on a large Enterprise Application with GWT. GWT
provides more power, flexibility, testability and control than
something like straight JSP or struts. So it's a clear winner.

I think there are two questions here.

1. I don't think you can use GWT on it's own for complex Enterprise
Applications. We use GWT alongside Spring and Hibernate.

2. You could develop a complete user interface with pure GWT, but the
likes of SmartGWT (etc) gives you more for less.
