If you check out this site http://www.gwtcontractor.com, there is a link at the bottom left called Site Dump. This is a link to a page which contains all the internal text to the GWT Application site. As it is a normal link. Google can access and crawl it. If you search for GWT Contractor on Google, you will notice that all the indexed portion of the site points to this Site Dump page.
I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it is a good compromise. - Chuck On May 11, 4:51 pm, Pavel Byles <[email protected]> wrote: > The Google Crawler will just not be able to pick up the AJAX parts of ur > site. > > Maybe it might help to put some text in parts of ur site that will get > replaced by gwt widgets, that way the crawler will have an idea of what's on > ur site. > > On Mon, May 11, 2009 at 3:33 AM, Danny Schimke > <[email protected]>wrote: > > > > > My question ist: Are there disadvantages for the Google crawler to > > search through my site if I build a GWT application?
