I've been using dictionaries for a while and they've worked well but I needed something a bit more expressive so I turned to overlay types. (side note: docs seem to claim this is a new feature to 1.6 but what makes it a 1.6 feature?)
The overlay types are great because I can use them directly or if I need a bit more control I can wrap them around JSON types. But my question is ... why would anyone ever use dictionaries?
