Hi all, I am currently developing an Enterprise Application within Netbeans using EJB's and Hibernate on the server side and GWT 1.6 on the client side.
I am running Netbeans 6.1 and the bundled Glassfish 2, also MYSQL 5.1. The project is taking approx 3 minutes or so to build but is taking over 15 minutes to deploy to the Glassfish server! As you can imagine this is making development almost impossible, when trying to test changes. The PC has 3.25Gb RAM and a 3GHz P4, and doesn't seem to be running out of memory and is at approx 50% CPU capacity. It's crazy as other machines with 3.5Gb RAM and a 2.6GHz Core2Duo only take 3 minutes to built+deploy, I cannot believe that the increased CPU makes a 500% change. When cleaned the project is about 20mb in size and when built the resulting EAR file is about 100mb. I was wondering if anyone has experienced any performance issues and has any tips? Many thanks Stuart --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
