Running the tests from Eclipse is, AFAIK, identical under the hood to running them on the command line. When I was trying to get the tests going, I ran things from the command line first to make sure everything worked, and once I was happy that things were OK, I switched to working within Eclipse. As I said, I did hit your problem, managed to get around it, but had other problems down the line. If you follow the instructions in the post I pointed you to, I think you'll be able to run the tests both from the command line, and from within Eclipse if you want to.
