Sorry if I misunderstood. Is a code sample available? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sean" <[email protected]> To: "Google Web Toolkit" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 22, 2009 2:03:50 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: Login Application
I don't use the Google App engine, so I built my own login. I have a database with user name's and passwords. I take what's in the text boxes, send it via RPC to the server, have the server select the password from the db for the submitted username and check it against what was sent. IF either the password doesn't match, or there was no user by that name I return false. Else I return true. So far it's worked like a charm.
