Hi gerry, The most likely cause for this problem is that your hosted mode launch configuration is referring to the old GWTShell instead of the new HostedMode class to start hosted mode. You should double-check that the launch config includes the GWT 1.7.0 JARs on the classpath and uses com.google.gwt.dev.HostedMode as the main class instead of com.google.gwt.dev.GWTShell.
