Yes, this is the wrong group, but all is forgiven since "Google Web Toolkit"
has too broad of a name since these days most of the interesting API work is
web-related. :-)
You want Wave's main project page, http://code.google.com/apis/wave/, then
click on the Group link to browse and join its mailing list.  I recommend
also subscribing to its blog to get up-to-the-minute news of this exciting
technology.

I'm not aware of any specific NetBeans support yet for Wave, but since it's
just an API, technically there isn't any Eclipse-specific support, either.
 Reading the Java tutorial carefully, what IDE support is useful is for
Google App Engine.  There is a community project to add App Engine support
to NetBeans at http://kenai.com/projects/nbappengine/.  One trick I've found
useful when dealing with sample code that was developed on Eclipse is to
look at the sample's .project to see what builders it uses, and the
.classpath to see what jars are needed.
