Hi, Are you sure you even need Xerces in your application? Do you reference any Xerces classes directly in your application code?
If not, you should remove xercesImpl.jar from: 1) jre/lib/ext 2) Your build classpath 3) war/WEB-INF/lib Then, try and run your app, and tell me what the error is.
