Hi Thomas, the problem is visible also in the sample application of gwt: http://gwt.google.com/samples/Showcase/Showcase.html. If your clear your browser's cache and then reload the page it's load about 9MB of images in 179 requests. Infact you can notice that the image bundle http://gwt.google.com/samples/Showcase/showcase/71072870DD13CCD2FCDAA9AF1F2C7F02.cache.png is load more and more time.
