Hi, I am trying to understand the lifecycle of widgets and how they attach / detach from DOM. I have found some posts on the gwt blog but I have not found any detailed info explaining this to a newbie.
The question that I am trying to find answer to is - How can you load/ unload widgets on demand as per the flow of the application? And once the widgets have been loaded (say based on a user action) then how do they get recycled Just hiding them may not be a good idea because it may cause memory leak on the client. Can you actually destroy/detach a widget explicitly or does GWT takes care of it? If it does get detached automatically then what is the lifecycle? And what if the widgets is a Composite? Hope I can find an answer here. Saurabh --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
