Ok, it turns out I was wrong about this. The fix has not been released as yet - I was getting confused with the Snow Leopard fix. Sorry about that. We'll be releasing a version that fixes the exact problem that you're seeing shortly. For now, you'll have to continue using your Java launch configuration workaround.
