Hi,

I'm pretty sure this is an FAQ but I've done a fair bit of googling
both on this group and the web and haven't been able to find what I'm
after unfortunately...

I've been working my way through the "StockWatcher" example, and have
just added in the login functionality as described on the page below:

http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/tutorials/1.6/appengine.html#user

It's quite likely that if I can teach myself GWT I'll want to deploy
to a website that isn't running on GAE, and thus will use my own login
functionality.

Are there any good examples of how to achieve a similar login process
with a "roll your own" login mechanism? In particular I am not sure
how I'd create the Log In / Log Out URLs, whether this is best done as
another GWT "thing"(?) or just plain JSPs, etc.

Any advice or links to samples, tutorials or good books would be
greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Andrew.
