After installing the GWT plugin for Eclipse on my Windows 7 pc, I quickly noticed that the GWT icons were not displayed in the Eclipse task bar. I repeated the installation instructions several times, uninstalled the plugin, reinstalled...
Finally, I decided to try running Eclipse with the "Run as Administrator" option. This time the plugin install worked perfectly and the GWT icons are now showing up correctly. To "Run as Administrator", right-click on the Eclipse icon, select the "Run as Administrator" option. I'm not sure what the problem was/is....but I thought I'd post my results for others if they run into this same issue.
