This is very easy process to deploy GWT project on tomcat.Please follow below steps.
1. Install tomcat cat server with tomcat manager. 2. create zip file with all contents inside war file.(imp note:: do not zip war file, instead zip all contents of war file. When you open zip file, you should be able to see all contents of war file and not war folder). 3. Now rename the zip file with extension .war 4. Using tomcat manager, just upload this .war file. Now you will be able to access your application.
