Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I was victim of a much simpler
and stupid error. I was using the JRE and not the SDK and hence
debugging is not available. Not clearly identified that I could find
and I had "forgotten". I am adding these here so that if people find
this in the future they will have an easy reminder on how to fix it.
