Have you tried:
 - using FireBug, IE Developer Tools, Web Inspector (Safari / Chrome)
or DragonFly (Opera) to inspect the styles?
 - looking at the standard.css from the GWT theme? (searching for,
e.g., gwt-SuggestBoxPopup)
