Are you currently using GWT 2.0 RC2? If so, why not use the Web Application Launch Configuration? As long as your application has a war directory, the issue with the incorrect addition of the -style argument will not occur.
As an FYI, to get your Java launch configuration working, you need to add your project's source folders to your launch configuration's classpath.
