It is more a matter of configuration of your project. If you are not
running in noserver mode you don't need anything and it should work
out-of-the-box but if you are running noserver, then you need to do
more.

But maybe it is just a misconfiguration of service on the client
side... go through it and compare it also with GWT doc...
