So this is really two questions in one post. I want to hide all the elements contained within a panel and show certain others depending on which link the user clicks. i do not want to user clear() as that will just kill its child/ attached widgets. thereby having them to be reinstantiated all over again should the user click the original link that created them withing the panel. how can this be accomplished. i'm out of ideas. also. An image on my page refuses to show up 90% of the time. all my images are included as an resourcebundle. but this behavior persists whether the image is inside or outside of the panel. it is only 300k in size and is my logo. a png file with some transperency. any ideas why it only show up on a page 5-10% of the time?
