Hmm I wonder if this is a different case of the same issue I am seeing
as posted here:

- switching between tabs, only the first one open renders properly,
the rest show fill the entire area with one layout panel from down in
the hierarchy, including if one of them is a stackpanel as here.  Have
you found any solution?  I've not yet found a way to get it working,
may have to poke around in the source.
