I have done this already, no success

I tried the following
* uninstalled the IE development plugin
* deleted all generated files in /war/<project-name>/
* made sure that the correct (1.7) gwt-servlet.jar is in /WEB-INF/lib/
* unchecked the "Use Google Web Toolkit" and rebuilt the project
* re-checked the checkbox above and rebuilt the project

Still no success, any other ideas?
