Hi, one thing you can do, is to use Eclipse's JavaEE tools (WTP, WST). This allows you to do automatic redeployment both for the server and the client parts. It can be used in combination with a GWT project, and I heard, that this will be relatively easy to achieve with the new Google Eclipse plugins (v1.3, for which a preview is now available), but if you want to try such a setup with the current Eclipse plugins (1.2), it's a little bit more involved. Once you've set it up, it's very convenient, though.
