Yes, I've tried this - it doesn't work. My workaround is adding the class names at runtime with dockLayoutPanel.getWidgetContainerElement(child).addClassName(style.xyzStyle); But I would rather do this in a more declarative way with UiBinder. It would be nice, if all the LayoutPanels container children had class names for CSS styling.
