Hi Chihab, Rajeev brought up a good point. It could potentially be an IPV6 issue with Sun's sockets. You could try seting the networking property: java.net.preferIPv4Stack=true as documented here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/net/ipv6_guide/index.html jason
