Say you have a page with a rolodex-type feature, with a list of
contacts and an alphabet along the top (or left). When you click on a
letter, the page should scroll to that letter's entries.

In HTML, I would probably do this with internal tags, like: <a
href="#r">R</a>

As far as I know, I can't do the same thing in GWT, yesno? If not, how
can one go about this? Does it require some custom javascript? I'd
rather not use a ScrollPanel for the contact list because I really
don't like having a second scroll bar alongside the browser's scroll
bar.
